Why New Zealand?
From glacial valleys to star-filled skies and wineries, the South Island offers ADVENTURE IN ALL ITS FORMS. The Southern Alps mountain range, with snowy tops all year round are the backbone of the island stretching roughly 500 kms from south to north and dividing the island climatically - the West Coast covered in lush forest, the eastern Canterbury Plains a drier, arid landscape. Exploring this mountainous island, you'll be constantly open-mouthed before the incredible scenery.
This wild and wonderful adventure begins on the East coast in Christchurch, known for its English heritage and great street art, where the Avon River meanders through the city centre. You'll visit Mount Cook (Aoraki) National Park, home to the highest mountain in New Zealand, at 3,724 m - this pyramid shaped peak one of the country's greatest natural features.
Then it's down into Central Otago, the heartland of the South with its expansive farmland and heritage towns, before exploring the indescribable beauty of Milford Sound on a private cruise, Queenstown, the adventure capital of New Zealand (if not the world) and charming Arrowtown and Wanaka. The West Coast beckons, riding rugged coastline and exploring the breathtaking Franz Josef Glacier up close and personal … numerous geological, native and marine attractions await.
Throughout your awe-inspiring adventure your stays are in hand picked New Zealand styled properties, you'll be enjoying world class cuisine and wine and soaking up the quintessential kiwi culture and hospitality!
